Snowboard Training Programs
PARK SHARKS
The Park Sharks program is designed to help riders learn the technical skills and techniques to be comfortable riding in all terrain and conditions. This program is focused on all-mountain riding. Athletes will be encouraged to learn how to ride all types of conditions and terrain and begin exploring the parks and pipe. The goal of Park Sharks is to improve riding and have a ton of fun!

The Devo Team takes solid all-mountain riders to the next level of park and pipe progression. This program is designed to be a pre-cursor to the Winter Park Snowboard Team (WPST) and it is a requirement for all riders to start in this program before moving on to WPST. Athletes will spend the majority of their time learning skills, techniques, and tricks in the terrain parks. The goal of this program is to help riders excel in freestyle snowboarding while having a blast!
WPST - Devo
- Ages: 10 and over
- Time: 9am to 3:30pm
- Saturdays or Sundays from December 5, 2009 to April 3, 2010 (excluding Dec. 26 & 27 and Feb. 13 & 14)
- Cost: $950, which includes a full season pass (plus $200 refundable work deposit paid once per family)
The WPST is a program for riders looking to improve their technical skills, as well hone their competitive strategies in local, regional, and national competitions. Potential team members are expected to ride at a high level before joining the team. Please click on the WPST banner to learn more about the criteria.
Riders looking to improve their snowboarding skills in order to attain the Team Criteria are required to begin with the Winter Park Snowboard Team - Devo.
WPST is open to riders of all ages! The same criteria used for our younger riders will be used to assess and select 'senior team' riders. Teams will ultimately be a combination of all age groups based on the below criteria. Riders with any questions or concerns, contact James Mammele.

WPST - One day snowboarding training program
- Ages: 10 and over
- Time: 9am to 3:30pm
- Saturdays from November 21, 2009 to April 10, 2010
- Includes coaching for Sunday events
- Cost: $1075, which includes a full season pass (plus $200 refundable work deposit paid once per family)
WPST - Two day snowboarding training program
- Ages: 10 and over
- Time: 9am to 3:30pm
- Choose two days from Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, from November 21, 2009 thru April 10, 2010.
- Cost: $1395, which includes a full season pass (plus $200 refundable work deposit paid once per family)
WPST - Three day snowboarding training program
This program is designed for WPST's highest level riders; coach recommendation required.
- Ages: 12 and over
- Time: 9am to 3:30pm
- Cost: $1500, which includes a full season pass (plus $200 refundable work deposit paid once per family)
